devilfish   rhodes_bestrides_africa

In this unit, we will examine how colonialism and then imperialism helped many European countries expand their economies, natural resources, territories, and values. We will also examine the effects this had on the areas that were controlled such as Africa and China. This process had profound effects politically and culturally that would affect countries for more than a century.
